Cleveland Vocational Industries, Incorporated of Shelby, NC created U.A. Thrift as a training facility for people that have barriers to employment. Our doors opened in the year 2000 and we have become a respected business in Shelby.
We have a staff of 5 full-time, 5 part-time, a crew from Adventure House and an enclave of 6 workers from CVII that get the donated clothing ready for the sales floor. Our staff works as a team and it shows!! In upcoming weeks you'll be introduced to my wonderful staff and learn a bit more about them. I'm hoping to introduce you to some of our customers also. They are a great bunch of people.
Recently we closed the store for 4 days and had the sales floor stripped and new wax put down. After that was finished we redecorated the store and have received MANY compliments on it. We worked extra hard those 4 days and it paid off.

After 10 visits with a purchase you will receive an additional 20% OFF your purchase. It's our way of saying "Thank You" to our regular customers.
